On Phoenix’s West Side, 75th Ave & Thomas Rd, in front of Trevor Brown High School, Dreamers staged a civil disobedience action, taking over the street for about 3 hours. 6 undocumented activists were arrested to make a statement about being Undocumented & Unafraid, refusing to live in fear of deportation and confronting the menacing MSCO Sheriff’s Department, specifically calling out Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the poster boy of anti-immigrant sentiment in the United States.
